On a business trip to New York, I found myself on a plane daydreaming about the future - wondering if more money would truly make me happier.
I decided to test this by creating a 'Happiness Audit.' listing things that brought me joy, rating each on a happiness scale, assigning costs, and tracking how long the happiness lasted. Below is a sample of what I wrote down.

Surprisingly, the most fulfilling items on my list were either low-cost or free. The Happiness Audit illuminated what mattered to me, highlighting the gap between what I thought and what actually brings happiness. I still use this exercise today as a compass to check in on my core values and recalibrate my priorities. I hope it serves you in the same way.
